ABSTRACT
Academician Oleg Grigorievich Martynenko, full member
of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, head of the Department
of Power Engineering Physics of the A. V. Luikov Heat and Mass Transfer Institute, former director if this Institute, and Honoured Scientist of the Republic of Belarus passed away on the 1st of December 2012 after a long illness.
Oleg Grigorievich Martynenko was a member of the International Advisory Board from the very beginning of the journal Thermal Science, and greatly contributed for the successful development of the journal.
