EVOLUTION CHARACTERISTICS OF CRACKS AROUND BOREHOLES FOR GAS EXTRACTION IN DEEP COAL SEAMS
ABSTRACT
The study of crack evolution characteristics of perforated coal bodies under different water contents is crucial for efficient deep gas extraction. In this paper, based on digital image technology, we calculate the grayscale characteristic parameters of the whole process of destruction of perforated coal and quantitatively characterize the crack evolution law. The results show that the crack evolution of the coal body around the borehole decreases with the increase of water content.
