ANALYSIS OF A DISCRETE-TIME QUEUE WITH MAX(V,D) POLICY AND UNINTERRUPTED VACATION
ABSTRACT
In this paper, we study a Geo/G/1 queue with Max(V,D) strategy and uninterrupted vacation. Applying the probability analysis technique and the independent properties of customers' service times, the number of customers of the system is derived. Meanwhile, numerical illustrations are provided to analyze how the Max(V,D) policy influence the behavior of the queue size
